Meet the team

Sue Marcella

Owner/Operator & Bookkeeper For the past 25 years, Sue has been maintaining and overseeing the day to day, behind the scenes, operations of Marcella Carpets. She has been responsible for Accounts Receivables/Accounts Payable, payroll and human relations as well as many other facets of the business. With her experience in banking and customer relations and having completed an Interior Design course at Ontario Business College, joining Nick in the flooring business was beneficial to both. In her spare time, Sue enjoys spending time with her family and grandchildren, vacationing in Florida and playing Pickleball.

Nick Marcella

Owner/Operator & Sales Nick’s experience in the flooring industry spans 55 years. He began his career as a flooring installer, learning all aspects of proper installation methods for various types of flooring. He took pride in satisfying his customers with his quality workmanship. After a number of years installing, he established his own retail flooring store. He has enjoyed serving the community and providing them with outstanding service and a quality product throughout the years. Nick’s motto – “Honesty and friendliness at no extra charge” Nick enjoys spending time with his family and grandchildren, a round of golf and time in Florida.

Stan Suffield

General Manager / Estimator / Project Manager Stan has been with Marcella Carpets for the past 10 years and is responsible for day to day operations including overseeing the sales team, estimating, and project management. His experience in the flooring industry includes everything from smaller home renovations to large scale commercial flooring projects. Stan brings over 20 years of experience from the construction industry including Sales, Purchasing, and Logistics Management. He enjoys nothing more than spending time with his wife and two children, a day on the golf course, watching a football game, or playing some hockey.

Kristi Suffield

Office Manager Kristi has been with Marcella Carpets for the past 17 years and is responsible for organizing and coordinating office operations and procedures including accounts payable & receivable, maintaining office records, communications and social media. Kristi enjoys running & using her creativity for planning events and at home projects in her spare time and spending time with her family.

Dave Anderson

Sales / Estimator Dave is a great asset to our team as he brings 26 years of experience from the small retail to large commercial projects. His upbeat and positive attitude fits perfect in our office and showroom environment. Dave has been to many training seminars and certified from Schluter, Ardex and Laticrete. His product knowledge combined with jobsite experience will help with creating anybody’s vision a reality. In Dave’s spare time he loves to spend time with his 2 girls, enjoys the outdoors and is a sports enthusiast.

April Cousineau

Showroom Sales Representative April has been with Marcella Carpets for just over a year and is responsible for maintaining the showroom including products, pricing and displays and assisting customers with product selection, information & sales. She graduated from Fanshawe College’s Interior Design program and offers over 17 years of Interior Design and customer service experience. She has a proven ability to put customers at ease when they get overwhelmed when selecting material from a small renovation to coordinating the full selections for a new build. April enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling to Sauble Beach during the summer months and tackling her own renovations on her home. Projects Assisted an abundance of builders and designers with selecting material and cabinet layout for model homes and presentation centers. Designed cabinets for Conestoga Mall’s restrooms located near the Davenport entrance. Selected furniture and layout for Fanshawe College’s Student Union Building.

Greg Schnarr

Warehouse Manager Greg has been with Marcella Carpets for the past 17 years and is responsible for warehouse operations including receiving & handling shipments & material, inventory controls, assisting subcontractors with day to day job contracts, maintaining machinery and delivering and/or picking up materials. Greg enjoys watching sports including football and Nascar and spending time with family.
